Recently, Bobbie Guyette with the New Richmond School District in Wisconsin, received a grant for a walk-in freezer for one of the warehouses adjacent to a local high school.
She has a school farm with tomatoes. Eventually, the overproduction comes to the freezer building where they are stored and frozen, then turned into sauces and purees for the nutrition program. The goal is no waste from the farm, so this production freezer was 100% grant-funded to help accomplish fiscal responsibility for the district.
Cambro Manufacturing was there with its Top Rail High Density Shelving to accommodate this initiative.
